  • No weld repair allowed on QQ-N-286 material.
  • Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis for parts requiring certification.
  • Specific testing certifications for annealing, age hardening, and ultrasonic inspection on starting material.
  • Slow Strain Rate Tensile Tests must be performed by one of several specified laboratories.
  • Thread inspection per FED-STD-H28 series, with commercial equivalents (ASME B1 series) acceptable.
