  • Marking: Permanent marking of each unit with material symbol "K", manufacturer's symbol, and lot number.
  • Mercury-Free: Strict adherence to mercury-free material and manufacturing processes, with specific testing and approval protocols for any exceptions.

  • Configuration Control: Adherence to MIL-STD-973 (or EIA-649) for Engineering Change Proposals, Deviations, and Waivers.
  • Packaging: Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
