Scope of Work
The VA requires turnkey delivery and setup of temporary above-ground fuel storage tanks, site preparation, and fuel removal from three existing Underground Storage Tanks (USTs). Key requirements include:
- Furnishing a 12-month rental lease for temporary Above Ground Storage Tanks (ASTs) of 1000-gallon minimum capacity (with interconnections for expansion) for three UST locations.
- Removing approximately 7,500 gallons of diesel fuel from existing USTs and providing certification once USTs are clean and empty.
- Furnishing and installing six (6) 500-gallon ASTs to serve three existing day tanks for a 12-month period.
- Demobilization and removal of ASTs, piping, conduit, and cabling at lease termination.
- Compliance with CT-DEEP regulations and all applicable local and national standards.
- Provision of all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and disposal.
- Installation of isolation valves and labeling of all piping.
- Coordination of work with VA COR, Utilities Supervisor, and Chief, Maintenance & Operations.
