Purpose
This Sources Sought Notice is for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of manufacturing and delivering 57 mm MK 307 MOD 0 Dummy Cartridges, including all components, Load Assemble and Pack (LAP), and acceptance testing. This is not a Request for Proposal, and no award will be made as a result of this notice.
Scope of Work
Potential sources should be able to produce cartridges that meet the requirements of Top Level Drawing 53711-8215729 and Painting and Marking Drawing 53711-8876691. Key performance requirements include:
- Designed to function in the 57 mm MK 110 Gun Mount.
- Capable of cycling through a MK 110 Gun under cold, ambient, and hot conditions.
- Clipped together with MK 8 MOD 0 Ammunition Clips, packed 2 each in the MK 806 MOD 0 Storage Container, and placed on MK 12 MOD 1 Pallets.
Contractor test capabilities for conducting First Article and Lot Acceptance testing are desired.
Planned Acquisition & Contract Details
