Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To address issues with maintaining a clean environment in Hangar 190 by installing bird netting to prevent birds from roosting and nesting.

• Install approximately 37,800SF of Premium Poly-Net bird netting in two hangar bays.

• Utilize 9ga and 11ga tension wire, twist lock clips, and poly clips.

• Cover the entire ceiling area, including under trusses and down three walls (excluding hangar doors).

• Netting should extend from approximately 10ft from the floor up to the ceiling.

• Ensure no breaks in the netting.

• Contractor will clean all job-related debris daily and upon project completion.

• A post-construction inspection will be conducted.

• Project site: Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Building 190, located at 5507 Tyndall Ave, NAFB, NV, 89084.

• Standard working hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving.

• All work must comply with applicable federal, state, local, and NAFB laws, regulations, codes, and permits concerning environmental protection.

• Asbestos-containing material and lead-based paint testing may be required.

• Contractor personnel must conduct themselves professionally.

• Work must comply with industry standards and applicable manufacturer's recommendations.

• Electrical wiring, connections, and structural designs must comply with NFPA 70 (NEC), Uniform Mechanical Code, and NFPA 54.

• Work must comply with the International Building Code (IBC) 2009 Edition, DoD Unified Facilities Criteria Standards (UFC), Unified Plumbing Code (UPC), and accepted industry practices.

• The system must be 100% operational upon project completion.
