Source Approval & Evaluation
The Government requires source approval prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited. Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. If not an approved source, interested parties must submit detailed information as per the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the original notice). Offers failing to provide required source approval data will not be considered. Award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if source approval cannot be processed in time.
