Hydroacoustic Equipment for the Glen Canyon Dam
The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, (BOR) Upper Colorado Region has a requirement to purchase hydroacoustic monitoring systems to be installed on the inflow of the penstocks at the Glen Canyon Dam, in Page Arizona. This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 12 and 13 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a total small business set aside. Vendors must be a small business and registered in SAM.gov to be eligible for award.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The BOR intends to procure 4 hydroacoustic monitoring systems for the Glen Canyon Dam with the option of 4 more. This effort is seeking a Contractor who can provide four transducers to include echosounder and cable. Glen Canyon personnel will be responsible for the installation and shall provide the equipment, tools, dam expertise, and dive team needed to install transducers to the Glen Canyon Dam. The Contractor shall provide onsite supervision and expertise for installation and commissioning of the transducer to include one year of phone support for troubleshooting the installation and commissioning portion to mitigate any issues that could arise and assure transducers are functioning properly. The contractor will also provide a digital, detailed instruction manual with logic diagrams to document the system and aids in the installation of the devices.
Specifications will be provided with the solicitation. The offerors price must include shipping to the Bureau of Reclamation, Glen Canyon Field Office.
