Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS), intends to award a sole-source contract to LOCKHEED MARTIN for the repair/modification of Processor, Test Controller (NSN 0R-5895-016785234-QE). This is a presolicitation notice, and while not a request for competitive proposals, interested parties may submit capability statements. Responses are due by March 2, 2026.
Scope of Work
This requirement is for the repair and modification of six (6) units of NSN 0R-5895-016785234-QE, Processor, Test Controller, with TDP VER 001, FOB Origin delivery. The item's design is currently unstable, with major changes contemplated due to low process yield or marginal performance, which will render the present part obsolete. Limited acquisition/repair from the present source is anticipated pending these configuration changes. The item is flight critical and requires Government source approval prior to contract award, as technical data is not adequate for full and open competition.

The Government's decision not to compete is solely at its discretion.
Additional Notes
Interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
