Requirements & Submission
Offerors must provide an Estimated (EST) repair price for the full repair effort. After receipt of carcass(es), the vendor will have 90 days to complete TD&E and submit a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) quote. Quotes must include the cost of new (actual or estimated) for evaluation purposes and specify any exceptions (e.g., MIL-STD Packaging, Inspection & Acceptance locations). The Requested Repair Turn Around Time (RTAT) is 321 Days, and price reductions will apply for failure to meet this RTAT. Only authorized distributors of the Original End Manufacturer (OEM) will be considered; proof of authorization on company letterhead is required. If the offeror is not the OEM, the OEM must be stated, and a signed letter of authorization provided. Compliance with Buy American-Free Trade Agreements-Balance of Payments Program is required.
Additional Notes
The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring the contractor's written acceptance. Contractual documents will be issued electronically. The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, with records maintained for 365 days. Packaging shall be in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
