Evaluation & Source Approval
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals. New sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. If not an approved source, detailed information from the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (Spares or Repair) must be submitted with the proposal. Offers failing to provide required source approval data will not be considered. Proposals received within 45 days (or 30 days if under an existing BOA) after publication will be considered.
