Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS), requires the procurement of new Vocera V5000 Smartbadge equipment and associated licenses, accessories, and OEM warranty/support to replace existing end-of-life Vocera B3000n Smartbadges. This is for approximately 800 devices.

• Procurement of approximately 800 Vocera V5000 Smartbadge devices.

• Associated software licenses, batteries, chargers, clips, and lanyards.

• OEM warranty and support services.

• Installation and construction are not required.

• Nomenclature and Part Numbers: Specific part numbers and quantities are listed for devices, licenses, batteries, chargers, lanyards, clips, and support services (CLINs 0001-0010).

• Salient Characteristics: Hands-free clinical communication, secure messaging, wireless calling, Nurse call and Code Blue integration, FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption, and full compatibility with the existing Vocera platform.

• Warranty: Manufacturer (OEM) warranty coverage for all components, including parts, labor, technical support, and software/firmware updates, starting from the date of acceptance. Minimum 1-year warranty on devices, with options for 2-year extensions.

• Security Requirements: Smart badges must connect to the VA wireless network and comply with VA information security, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements. All badges must support FIPS 140-2 encryption for data transmitted, processed, or stored.

• Delivery: Within thirty (30) calendar days of award.

• Delivery Location: Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center (Station 554), 1700 North Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045-7211.

• Delivery Hours: Monday – Friday; 0700hrs – 1500hrs, excluding Federal Holidays.
