Solicitation

This solicitation is for the acquisition and installation of DICOM CD/DVD Burner Systems to replace existing Rimage 2450 units at the Loma Linda VA Healthcare System. The purpose is to ensure the secure and efficient handling of DICOM data for patient care.

• Hardware: Must meet specific requirements for size, weight, operating system (Windows 11), processor (Intel i5 or better), RAM (16GB+), storage (512GB+ SSD), monitor (19-24 in.), keyboard, mouse, CD/DVD burners (capable of processing at least 4 disks simultaneously), and a disk label printer.

• Software: Must support automated, hands-off operation, parallel task processing, robust error monitoring and recovery, consumable monitoring, efficient high-volume production, adaptive streaming, disc spanning, direct-to-disc printing integration, bulk disc reading/processing, disaster recovery, remote monitoring, DICOM image import (from AGFA PACS via DICOM), image compression on DVD, simultaneous burning of at least 2 disks, customizable label printing, and a web portal for simultaneous job submission.

• Printing & Labeling: High-resolution, direct-to-disc printing using thermal retransfer technology; permanent, archival-quality prints resistant to damage; full-color custom artwork support.

• User Interface & Management: Intuitive QuickDisc™ UI, CD Designer™ software, and System Manager for monitoring.

• Media Types: Support for CD, DVD, and Blu-ray (BD) discs.

• Security & Reliability: Secure handling of confidential medical data, archival-quality discs.

• Integration: Software Development Kit (SDK) for third-party application integration.

• Contractor Tasks: Provide equipment meeting salient characteristics, deliver to specified location, configure burners, train end-users, provide at least 1-year warranty, install and provide on-site training, and offer at least 2 virtual refresher trainings within the warranty period.

• Additional Requirements: 2-hour response time for service requests, on-site arrival within 24 hours, 24/7 service availability.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Delivery: Within 90 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, Loma Linda, CA.
