• Pricing: Quotes must include an Estimated (EST) repair price, the cost of new (actual or estimated) for evaluation, and specify any exceptions (e.g., MIL-STD Packaging, Inspection/Acceptance locations). Repair prices must cover all costs associated with receiving and repairing material that may be in unwhole, missing hardware, damaged, or missing parts condition, including CAV Reporting.
• Mercury-Free Requirement: All materials supplied must be mercury-free and free from contamination, intended for use on submarines/surface ships.
• Marking & Serialization: Items must be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130, and marked per DWG 6964860 IAW DWG 6964587 note 6. Serialization requires obtaining serial numbers from NUWC_NPT_SerialNumbers@navy.mil.
• Quality Assurance: Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements, performing inspections and testing per original manufacturer's specifications and drawings, and maintaining records for 365 days post-delivery.
• Packaging: Preservation, Packaging, Packing, and Marking shall be in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
