Key Requirements & Evaluation
- Quality Assurance: Suppliers must maintain a quality system acceptable to the Government, in accordance with ISO 9001 or MIL-I-45208.
- First Article Test (FAT): Required, including submission and approval of a First Article Qualification Test Plan (IAW DWG 7609476 Notes 19 & 23 and PRO-020 Manual Vol II). FAT will be witnessed by NUWC Keyport (ISEA). Vendors must cost out FAT requirements separately.
- Production Lot Testing: 100% production testing and a Production Lot Quality Conformance Test Plan are required.
- Source Control: This is a source-controlled item. Only previously approved sources have been solicited. New suppliers must provide proof of prior approval or qualification data for evaluation.
- Evaluation: Past performance will be considered in accordance with FAR 13.106(a)(2).
- Deliverables (CDRLs): Include FAT Plan, FAT Report, Production Lot QCTP, Quality Conformance Test Results (2 copies per unit), Certificate of Conformance, and Certificate of Compliance. NUWC Keyport (N00253) is the acceptor in WAWF for these CDRLs.
Additional Notes
