Quick Summary
The Department of the Navy, through NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT MECH, intends to award a sole-source contract for three (3) Display Units, DCD (NSN 7H-5980-016865293-X5). This action is justified under FAR 6.302-1 due to the Government not owning the necessary data rights and the uneconomical nature of reverse engineering. The delivery location is DLA Distribution Norfolk, VA. Although designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside, the Government explicitly states its intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source.
