Purpose
The JCLC aims to provide cadets with opportunities to test leadership skills, participate in citizenship-building exercises, interact with peers, learn leadership in a hands-on military-type environment, and engage in adventure training.
Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide non-personal services including:
- Lodging: Accommodations for 140 individuals (120 cadets, 20 cadre/chaperones) with fixed facilities, hot water, toilets, showers, and personal space.
- Food Service: Meals, ice, and water, served at appropriate temperatures.
- Transportation: Two golf carts for logistics support.
- Medical Support: 24-hour on-site health center/First Aid Center with a qualified medical professional and EMT.
- Training Facilities: Climate-controlled in-processing, operations, and dining facilities; adequate waste removal; swimming pool (with lifeguards); water course for canoeing (with lifeguards); outdoor air rifle/marksmanship range; outdoor archery range; two covered pavilions; outdoor survival training area; open field for land navigation; softball field; outdoor group game infrastructure; "High ropes" and "low ropes" venues; and portable latrines at remote training locations.
