There is no set-aside specified for this RFI. The objective is to assess current racking, choose a suitable replacement, and then remove the old and install new racking in the Building IOF Plating Shop.
Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for the complete removal of existing outdated racking, including concrete bumpers, floor repair, and disposal of all scrap metal and trash. Subsequently, the contractor will procure, transport, and install a new racking system. The new layout will maintain the previous orientation but increase space between racks by 8 inches. Specific requirements include:
- Rows 1-6: 150ft long, 23ft tall, with approximately 4ft arms, each supporting 4,000lbs, and wire mesh decks with 4,000lbs capacity.
- Row 7: 150ft long, 23ft tall, with approximately 2ft arms, each supporting 2,000lbs (no wire mesh deck). The contractor must furnish all personnel, equipment, supplies, and supervision. Fabricated equipment delivery is required within 6 months of contract award to the Tobyhanna Army Depot, Bldg. IOF Plating Shop.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
The furnished racking must be warranted for parts and labor for 1 year from the date of delivery. The contractor will need to develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP), submitted within 10 days of contract award. Other requirements include adherence to security protocols (Attachment C), Information Assurance (IA) training for employees accessing government systems, and reporting labor hours via the SAM.gov Service Contract Report (SCR) system.
