This solicitation is for a contractor to perform quantitative chemical analysis testing on Government-Furnished Material (GFM) supplied by the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). The objective is to obtain a full quantitative analysis of the material's composition.

• Perform quantitative chemical analysis using Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) or an equivalent industry-accepted method.

• Analysis must be conducted in accordance with ASTM B61-08, Standard Specification for Steam or Valve Bronze Castings, for alloy UNS C92200.

• Evaluation for Silicon (Si) content is NOT required.

• Provide a formal Certificate of Analysis or Test Report detailing the full quantitative results for each of the nine (9) material samples.

• Reports shall be delivered electronically to the NNSY Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) upon completion of the analysis.
