• GFM Request Procedure: For aviation material requiring GFM reusable containers (excluding fast pack), contractors must email usn.philadelphia.navsupwssphil.mbx.navsupcrf@us.navy.mil at least 90 days before shipping for new procurements and 30 days for repair contracts.
• Item Specifics: Detailed fields are provided for each item number (COG-NSN-SMIC), including preservation method, preservative material, wrapping material, cushioning material and thickness, unit container, level of protection, intermediate container, unit container level, special marking, packing code, SPI number/revision/date, container NSN, OPI, shelf life, and shelf-life action code.

Bidders must carefully review these packaging and marking requirements to accurately estimate costs and ensure compliance. Failure to adhere to these specifications can lead to rejection of goods or contract non-compliance. Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the repair of two (2) units of GENERATOR, ALTER, National Stock Number (NSN) 6115-011149696, Part Number 70550-02031-111. This is a sole source requirement. The government does not possess sufficient, accurate, or legible data to contract with other than the current source. The items are subject to Free Trade Agreements and the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement.

• Repair of GENERATOR, ALTER (NSN: 6115-011149696).

• Critical Safety Item (CSI).

• Repair work must adhere to contractor's repair/overhaul standard practices, manuals, and directives.

• Marking and packaging must comply with Best Standard Commercial Packaging for Overseas Shipment.

• Items must meet operational and functional requirements as represented by Cage Code and reference numbers.

• Hazardous material identification and safety data submission is required.

• Contract type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Induction Period: 365 calendar days from the date of contract award, with a potential extension of an additional 365 days.

• Option Pricing: Proposed for a maximum of 10 units over the entire contract period.

• Contract Award: Government reserves the right to place the initial order for any number of units up to the specified maximum.

• Proposals must include information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Brochure. Offers failing to provide this data will not be considered.

• Source Approval is required prior to award.

• Key deadlines: Proposal submission due by 08 Apr 2026.

• This RFQ is NOT a small business set-aside.

• Government Source Approval is required.
