Source Approval & Submission Requirements
Government source approval is required prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited. New sources must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures (available on the NAVSUP website for Spares and Repair). If a request for source approval is currently being evaluated, a copy of the cover letter must be submitted. Offers failing to provide all required data will not be considered. The Government may proceed with approved sources if new source approval cannot be processed in time. Responses to this notice, including proposals, quotations, or capability statements, will be considered if received within 45 days of publication.
Additional Notes
The Government is not using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, for this solicitation, but interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Award will be made only if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1. This acquisition may be subject to Free Trade Agreements, as indicated by DFARS clauses 252.225-7036 or 252.225-7021.
