Scope of Work
The VA seeks to replace and integrate the PACS and IDS systems in a multi-year, phased approach. The strategy aims to integrate security systems, leverage data analytics, and bolster access control and intrusion capabilities, with future integration planned for video surveillance systems.
Phase 1 focuses on Access Control and Lynx Duress Integration, including the installation of Software House iStar G2 Controllers, network connections, and access control readers, along with specific components like the CCURE 9000 ACS Desktop Site Server.
Phase 2 focuses on DMP Intrusion Detection, involving the installation of DMP XR550 Controllers, network connections, keypads, PIRs, glass breaks, and duress/panic devices. Detailed lists of required components for both Montrose and Castle Point VAMCs are provided.
Responsibilities
VA Hudson Valley Health Care will provide site access, power, wall space, and escorts. The Vendor will be responsible for installation, wiring, programming, compliance with national, state, and local codes (e.g., BICSI, UL 681), and providing a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials. Vendor personnel must be US citizens or US persons, and training for VA staff is required.
