The contractor will be responsible for upgrading the current outdated Stanley Wander Guard System to a new system, such as the Intrex Rythmos Wander Management System or an equivalent. The system must provide reliable and safe methods for preventing patient elopement, monitoring movements, and preventing unauthorized exits. Key functionalities include Bluetooth (BLE) for indoor tracking, Cellular GPS for outdoor tracking, and alarms for door/elevator access by monitored patients. The scope also includes providing rechargeable monitoring sensors/armbands, installing new cabling and conduit as recommended by the manufacturer, and providing operator training for staff. Installation will cover the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Bed Tower and the 3rd floor of the Community Living Center (CLC), including stairwell exits, elevator lobbies, and virtual doors. The contractor must also provide yearly cellular service for the system, with up to four optional years.
