This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial services to procure the "Wander Guard System" for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida. The VA intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for all supplies, materials, equipment, labor, supervision, and management for this system. This solicitation is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs).

• Upgrade the current outdated Stanley Wander Guard System to a new system, such as the Intrex Rythmos Wander Management System or equivalent.

• The system must provide reliable and safe methods for preventing patient elopement by monitoring movements and preventing unauthorized exits.

• Key functionalities include Bluetooth (BLE) for indoor tracking within specified boundaries, Cellular GPS for outdoor tracking, and alarms for door/elevator access by monitored patients.

• The system must include rechargeable and compatible monitoring sensors/armbands.

• Installation will cover the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors of the Bed Tower and the 3rd floor of the Community Living Center (CLC), including stairwell exits, elevator lobbies, and virtual doors.

• Contractor must provide yearly cellular service for the system, with up to four optional years.

• Contractor must provide and install all new cabling and conduit as recommended by the manufacturer.
