Statement of Need

To procure nuclear radiopharmaceuticals for the Cheyenne VA Medical Center Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) department to conduct Nuclear Medicine exams, such as Nuclear Cardiac Stress tests.

This contract requires weekly delivery of nuclear radiopharmaceuticals. The specific types and quantities will be determined by physician orders for exams. The items listed are examples of required radiopharmaceuticals and associated supplies.

• The contract period is not specified in this document.

• Radiopharmaceuticals require half-life for storage and cannot be stored in bulk.

• Deliveries must be scheduled weekly based on exam orders.

• A Security Accreditation Package is not required, as A&A requirements do not apply per Handbook 6500.6 Appendix A.

Sources Sought Notice

This notice is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19) for market research purposes to identify potential sources for Nuclear Medicine Radiopharmaceuticals for the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal, and no award will be made based on responses.

Nuclear radiopharmaceuticals require specific half-lives for storage and cannot be stored in bulk at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center. Weekly deliveries will be scheduled based on the number of exams ordered by physicians.

• An overview of proposed solution(s) and a description of products.

• Capabilities/Qualifications Statement.

• Completed market research table questionnaire.
