This is a presolicitation notice for a commercial acquisition using FAR Part 12 under simplified acquisition procedures. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for radiopharmaceuticals for the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS.

• Provision and delivery of radiopharmaceuticals.

• Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, equipment, licenses, and transportation necessary.

• Anticipated award of a single-award, firm-fixed-price, five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

• Five (5) twelve-month ordering periods.

• The RFQ is expected to be posted on or about April 24, 2026.

• Quotes are due on or about May 15, 2026, 7:00 AM Central Time, Chicago, USA.

• The RFQ and amendments will be issued electronically via SAM.gov (Contract Opportunities).

• This will be an unrestricted solicitation.

• All interested vendors must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov under the applicable NAICS code at the time of quote submission and award.

Sources Sought Notice

This is a Sources Sought Notice for market research purposes to identify potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), 8(a), HubZone, and other Small Businesses capable of providing radiopharmaceuticals to the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita, KS. The government is seeking information to aid in acquisition planning for a potential single-award, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract.

• Supply and delivery of unit-dose radiopharmaceuticals for Nuclear Medicine operations.

• Products must be calibrated for 0600 Central Time and meet radionuclidic and radiochemical purity standards (USP, FDA).

• Products must retain sufficient expiration time upon delivery.

• Contractor must possess required federal licenses (USNRC, FDA) and comply with DOT regulations for transport.

• Adherence to HIPAA and VA information security/privacy requirements is mandatory.

• Contractor facility must be within a 50-mile radius of the VAMC or demonstrate delivery within one hour for emergent orders.

• Emergent orders require 24/7 delivery capability within one hour of confirmation.

• Routine deliveries are Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM; emergent deliveries are 24/7.

• Anticipated contract type: Single-award, five-year IDIQ with five twelve-month ordering periods.

• Estimated period of performance: Approximately 05/01/2026 – 04/30/2031.

• This is for market research only; it is not an invitation for bid, RFQ, or RFP.

• No entitlement to payment for costs incurred in responding.
