Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation is for the purchase of fourteen (14) Anesthesia Supply Carts and associated accessories for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The government requires an authorized vendor to supply and deliver these items. This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement.

• Quantity: 14 Anesthesia Carts with specific configurations and accessories.

• Cart Specifications: Must be a 45" High Cart with 30" Drawer Space.

• Locking Mechanism: Must have push-button mechanical locks (non-electronic).

• Included Components: Specific drawer divider kits, cart top rails, hanger rails, accessory side brackets, overbridges, tilt bins, IV poles, pass-thru pullout shelves, glove box holders, and wire baskets are required as detailed in Table 1.

• Condition: Equipment must be new, not used or refurbished. Date of manufacture must not be greater than 2 years before the purchase order date. Batteries must not be manufactured more than 12 months before the purchase order issue date.

• Documentation: Vendor must provide all applicable service manuals, maintenance requirements, and part lists.

• Packaging: Equipment must ship in original OEM packaging. No partial shipments accepted.

• Delivery: Within 30 days from the time of award.

• Delivery Location: Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, 1700 N Wheeling Street, Aurora, CO 80045.

• Delivery Hours: Monday – Friday; 0700hrs – 1500hrs, excluding Federal Holidays.

• Warranty: Contractor shall provide all manufacturer’s warranty, commencing upon acceptance. Warranty must include all travel and shipping costs for repairs.

• Invoicing: Invoices must be submitted within 30 days at the end of each month and include specific contract and item details.

• Inspection: Government will perform inspection and testing prior to acceptance.

• Recalls: Vendor must immediately notify VA Medical Centers of any device recalls or modifications.

• This is a Brand Name or Equal requirement.

• The equipment does not connect to a VA network and does not store patient information, thus C&A requirements and Appendix B/C provisions do not apply.

• Vendor is responsible for removal/disposal of waste and/or excess material.

• Installation and Training are not required (marked 'No').

Sources Sought Notice

This notice is issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 19 (NCO 19), for market research purposes. The VA is seeking information on potential sources for Anesthesia Supply Carts for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center.
