Scope & Justification
The VA seeks to procure BIOFIRE® FILMARRAY® Torch Module Boxes to add to its existing equipment. Market research indicates that BIOMERIEUX INC is the only source capable of meeting the government's full requirement due to existing inventory, logistical infrastructure, and maintenance capabilities. BIOFIRE equipment is proprietary and exclusively compatible with BIOFIRE Systems, which are only available through BIOMERIEUX INC.
