Purpose
This is a Sources Sought Notice, NOT a solicitation or request for quote/proposal. Its purpose is solely for market research and planning, in accordance with FAR 15.201(e), to identify potential SDVOSB vendors who can meet the VA's requirements for diagnostic vascular examination equipment.
Scope of Work
The VA seeks diagnostic equipment to perform a comprehensive range of vascular exams, including ABIs with Doppler/PPG, Segmental Pressures, Post Exercise ABIs & PVRs, Doppler Waveforms, Pulse Volume Recording, PPG Digit Waveforms (TBI, DBI), Toe Pressures, Venous Reflux & VC/MVO Waveforms, Allen's / Palmer Arch Compression, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, Fistula Compression, and Raynaud's PPG or Infrared.
Key equipment specifications include:
- Touch-screen monitor (infection control compliant)
- Designated cart with storage and ergonomic features
- Printer
- Accessories: Doppler probes (5MHz, 8MHz), PPG sensors with digit clips, temperature gun, various pressure cuff sets, automatic cuff inflator
- Sealed backlit keyboard (battery-powered option preferred)
- DICOM/PACS compatible
The vendor will be responsible for delivery, assembly, installation, and on-site training at the George E Wahlen Medical Center in Salt Lake City, UT. Collaboration with PACS, IT, and biomed departments is required to ensure data security and transmission.
