Purpose
This Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes to identify qualified contractors capable of providing and installing patient lifts. It does not constitute a solicitation, and responses cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for the provision and installation of nine (9) ceiling-mounted patient lifts, including complete XY or H Track Configurations with continuous charge, track systems, lift units, motors, and structural mounting systems. Specific lifts include:
- 5 x 1000LB Bariatric 8' x 10'
- 1 x 1000lb with Bath RH 8' x 10'
- 1 x 1000lb with Bath LH 8' x 10'
- 2 x 1000LB Bariatric 6' x 10' Installation labor, hardware, and various components are also required. The system must be compatible with the new structural roof system. Installation is estimated for September 2026 at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center.
