Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 2, intends to award a sole source contract to Transonic Systems Inc. for an HD03 Hemodialysis Flow System for the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. This system will replace an existing unit that is over 10 years old and at its end of life. While this is not a request for competitive quotes, interested firms may submit evidence of their capability to meet the requirements. Responses are due by February 2, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET.
Purpose & Scope

It must be a standalone device, not connected to the VA network, and usable by trained medical personnel for routine monitoring of access recirculation, access flow, and delivered blood flow. The system requires two sensors and no additional IV lines or integration into dialysis machines. In-service training is also required.
