Scope of Work
The VA requires one (1) CT Injection System with specific features:
- Equipment: Bayer Medrad Stellant Flex CT Injection System or an equivalent model.
- Configuration: Dual syringe (contrast + saline) with FLEX architecture for multi-patient contrast syringe use and a single-patient saline syringe.
- Performance: Must support flow rates from 0.1–10 mL/s, volumes up to 200 mL, pressure limits ≥ 300 psi, real-time pressure monitoring, automated air detection, programmable protocols, SmartFlow features, and automated saline flush.
- Safety Features: Includes visual/audible alarms, occlusion detection, airbolus protection, contrast warming, and safety interlocks.
- Integration: The system must integrate with existing CT scanners (GE/Siemens/Philips/Canon) and synchronize with scan acquisition. Documentation export via USB or LAN is required.
- Installation & Training: The contractor will be responsible for installation, commissioning, and end-user training.
- Warranty: A standard manufacturer industry warranty term is required; extended warranties requiring advance payment are not accepted.
