Scope of Work

General medical/surgical beds must meet specific requirements including 6-inch clearance, 5-inch casters, 3 exit alarm zones, built-in patient scale, air mattress with variable pressure and low air loss, 500 lbs patient capacity, one-touch CPR/Trendelenburg, compatibility with major nurse call systems (Rawland, Hill-Rom, Jeron), and bleach-cleanable covers. ICU beds must meet all general bed requirements plus motorized transport assistance, motorized bed length adjustment, cardiac chair mode, advanced mattress capabilities (pulsation, alternating lateral pressure, percussion, vibration), turn assist, and passive leg raise.
