This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information from qualified sources with special interest relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutics Apparatus Manufacturing.

The Government will not pay for information received in response to this Sources Sought, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided. This Sources Sought does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Contractor participation is not a promise of future business with the Government.

Requirement

The VA Great Lakes Health Care System, Veterans Integrated Services Network (VISN) 12, Jesse Brown VAMC, Chicago IL is seeking authorized distributors to the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) the equipment listed below. The VAMC is seeking businesses of any size who are authorized distributors of the equipment under NAICS 334510 and Product Service Code (PSC) of 6515. In order to qualify as a small business seller your company must meet the requirements of 13 CFR 121.406 (b)(1)(i), (b)(1)(ii) and (b)(1)(iii).

The Contractor shall provide all labor, travel, expenses, parts, materials, tools, equipment, software, supervision, and expertise necessary to upgrade the Philips Xper Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics system. This includes all equipment in the 2 Cath labs and nurse stations including the 8 monitors, 4 holding areas using the nurse monitor software, wall mounts, articulating arms, and Intellivue Interface, PIICIX central station with 24 in monitor. This also includes upgrading software so that it will be compatible for integration with the new Federal Electronic Health Record (FEHR), Oracle Health. The software should also be compatible with existing FEHR, CPRS until go-live with the new FEHR, Oracle Health. Additionally, in order to make Philips Xper compatible with the new VA Cerner EHR, the primary patient identifier needs to be converted to the Enterprise Data Interchange Patient Identifier (EDIPI). This project converts social security number (SSN) to EDIPI for Xper.
