This notice is a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) issued by Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 to determine contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications, and industry pricing for the replacement of a Catheter Interface Module for Abbott ViewMate Z Ultrasound systems at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System (CAVHS) in Little Rock, AR. The government is exploring the possibility of a sole source award if no sufficient responses are received.

• Provide a proprietary Catheter Interface Module for the Abbott ViewMate Z Ultrasound (Part Number: VMZ ZS3 RFRB, H701374-R) to restore the ultrasound to functional order.

• The module must be OEM or OEM-authorized.

• Minimum 1-year warranty required.

• Delivery within 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to Little Rock, AR.

• Responses are due by 06/18/2026 at 3:00 PM (CST).

• Submit responses via email to t.miller@va.gov with the subject line: "36C25626Q0921 - Sources Sought – Replacement Catheter Interface Module".

• The RFI requests specific information regarding company size, certifications, compliance with Nonmanufacturer Rule, Buy American Act, Trade Agreement Act, OEM authorization, and proposed delivery schedules.

• Offerors must provide descriptive literature and evidence of OEM authorization.

• Estimated industry pricing is requested for market research.

• Small businesses (including SDBs, HUBZone, 8A) are encouraged to respond.

• Contractors must provide proof of qualifications and business size status.

• Offerors must meet the four-prong factors for the Nonmanufacturer Rule if applicable.

• Only OEM or OEM-authorized sources will be accepted; documentation verifying authorization is required.

This notice is a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16. The purpose is to conduct market research to determine contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications, and estimated industry pricing for the replacement of a Catheter Interface Module for the Abbott ViewMate Z Ultrasound. This module is essential for restoring the ultrasound to functional order at the Central Arkansas VA Healthcare System (CAVHS) in Little Rock, AR.

• Provide the proprietary Catheter Interface Module for the ICE Catheter, which is a component of the Abbott ViewMate Z Ultrasound.

• Ensure the ultrasound functions at full capacity as intended by the manufacturer.

• Delivery to Central Arkansas Veteran Healthcare System (CAVHS), John L. McClellan Memorial Veterans Hospital, 4300 West 7th Street, Little Rock, AR, 72205.

• Period of Performance: 30 Days After Receipt of Order (ARO).

• This is NOT a solicitation, RFP, IFB, or RFQ. No contract will be formed based on responses.

• Interested offerors must complete all questions, provide required documentation, descriptive literature, and an authorization letter as described in the full RFI.

• Small Business Concerns are encouraged to respond to assist in determining potential levels of competition.

• The government is considering a sole source award if no responses are received.

• This is a new requirement.

• All information provided will be used solely by CAVHS as "market research" and will not be released outside the CAVHS Purchasing and Contract Team.
