Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office 16 (NCO 16), has issued a Notice of Intent to Sole Source to ScriptPro, LLC for the upgrade of all ScriptPro pharmacy automation systems, associated hardware, and proprietary software to a Windows 11 compliant platform. This is a firm-fixed-price contract. Interested parties must respond by May 22, 2026, 10:00 AM CST.
Scope of Work
The VA currently utilizes ScriptPro automation and workflow technology across two pharmacy locations and three CBOC pharmacist operations. This includes outpatient dispensing robots, data interface terminals, kiosk queueing systems, signature-capture systems, and inpatient remote viewing equipment. The existing hardware and software operate on Windows 10, which reached end-of-life on October 14, 2025, and no longer receives security updates. This poses a significant risk of noncompliance with VA cybersecurity requirements and potential removal from the VA network.
The required upgrades include:

- 27 label printers
- 8 ScriptPro robot CPUs
- 12 notice board CPUs
- 6 kiosk CPUs
- 2 ScriptPro platform servers
