To outline the tasks and responsibilities for supplying mobile computer carts for the Bakersfield VA Clinic within VISN22.

• Procurement of mobile computer carts (brand name or equal) to support telehealth examination rooms.

• Carts will be used by providers and nursing staff for documenting electronic health records, administering point-of-care testing, treatments, and medication administration.

• Central control panel with power system controls, battery fuel gauge, height adjustment, and light controls.

• Power Max 150 with 50 ah class Lithium Iron Phosphate power system.

• LCD VESA monitor mount with motorized height adjustment (5.25' range).

• Large work surface area (17'W x 14.3'D) with translucent protective cover.

• Normal duty hours: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays.
• Contractor must coordinate any required contact outside normal duty hours.
• Federal holidays observed are listed.
• Noncontract charges require prior approval from the Contracting Officer.
• Payment upon receipt of a properly prepared invoice.
• Contractor is responsible for waste removal and disposal.
• Shipping for parts is included in the contract cost.

• Vendor must ensure adequate LAN/Internet, data, information, and system security.
• Firewall and web server must meet or exceed government minimum requirements.
• All government data must be protected by an approved firewall.
• Security violations must be reported.
• Vendor must follow VA policies and procedures for information security.
• Contractor must follow VAAR clause 852.273-75 “SECURITY REQUIREMENTS FOR UNCLASSIFIED INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES".
• Personnel are subject to Federal laws, regulations, standards, and VA policies regarding information security, including FISMA and NIST standards.
• Contractors must follow "VA Information and Information System Security/Privacy Requirements for IT Contracts".
• All contractor employees requiring access to VA computer systems must undergo a background investigation and receive favorable adjudication from the VA Security and Investigations Center (07C).
• BI forms will be provided upon award and must be returned within 30 days.
• Subcontractor personnel are subject to the same requirements.
• If security clearance is not completed by the contract start date, employees may work while it is being processed, but the contractor is responsible for their actions.
