Vendors must address their ability to meet the following characteristics for the ultrasound system:

• Cart-mounted, point-of-care system for procedural, emergency, and clinic environments.
• 21-inch all touchscreen portrait display with high clarity.
• 2D (B-Mode) imaging with multi-beam technology.
• Color Velocity and Power Doppler imaging for sensitive blood-flow analysis.
• Optimization technology to adapt imaging parameters.
• Optional needle enhancement feature.
• Wireless networking capability.
• Touch-based primary user interface with direct on-screen controls.
• Rapid patient information entry workflow.
• Accessory storage for probes, gel, and supplies.
• Battery operated or extended rechargeable operation.
• Mobile stand with stable positioning, height adjustment, integrated connectors, cable management, and accessory storage.
• Support for capture, storage, and printing of ultrasound images.
• On-site initial training for clinical staff and ongoing technical support.

Interested and capable companies should provide:

10. Confirmation of conformity with the Buy American Act, including country of origin if unsure.
11. Lead time for delivery.
12. FDA clearance status for proposed equipment.
13. Information on existing Federal Government contracts (FSS, GSA, etc.) and availability of requested items on those contracts.
14. General pricing of products/solutions (for market research purposes only).
15. SAM.gov Unique Entity ID.
