Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically VISN 22, is conducting a Sources Sought Synopsis and Request for Information (RFI) to identify qualified sources for Dental Laboratory Services for the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System (SAVAHCS) in Tucson, AZ. This is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. Responses will help the Government make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses are due by February 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM PT.
Scope of Work
The VA requires comprehensive dental laboratory services, including but not limited to:
- Removable Prosthetics: Complete dentures, custom impression trays, bite rims, partial dentures, frameworks, denture repairs (including laser welding), occlusal guards, reline/rebase services, and precision attachments.
- Fixed Prosthetics: Multi-unit bridges, single units, porcelain composites, metal restorations, and implant restorations (crowns and guides).
Services include daily transportation for pickup and delivery of cases between SAVAHCS Dental Service and the contractor's facility (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., excluding Federal Holidays). Turnaround times are critical: complete and partial denture steps within five (5) working days, and crowns/bridges within ten (10) working days. The contractor must also provide professional case consultation and custom shade matching at their facility.
