Statement of Need

To procure specialized, safety-focused Behavioral Health Beds for the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center's Inpatient Mental Health Units.

Procurement of:

• (32) ARC100 - Arcadian Platform Beds (Color: Dove)

• (32) PRD-RR06K - Removable Restraint Ring Sets (6 Rings per set)

• Quantity: 32 beds and 32 restraint ring sets.

• Dimensions:

  • Bed Deck Length: 80" (Max 83")
  • Bed Deck Width: 36" (Max 40")
  • Overall Length: 82"
  • Overall Width: 38"
  • Height: 16.9"
  • Must fit a 36" x 80" mattress.

• Material & Construction:

  • Rotationally molded high-impact polyethylene.
  • Seamless, one-piece, ligature-resistant construction with no internal openings.
  • Inverted internal rib structure for strength.
  • Raised outer edges to contain fluids, gently crowned for drainage.
  • Completely waterproof with hygienic, wipe-clean surfaces.

• Safety Features:

  • Ligature resistant.
