Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To outline the vendor's responsibilities for supplying mobile medication carts to the Bakersfield VA Clinic within VISN22, under the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System.

• Provide "brand name or equal" mobile medication carts that meet or exceed specified physical, functional, and performance characteristics.

• Two specific cart models are detailed:

  • E0930M – Locker, Supply, Mobile – Harloff MedStor Max (Quantity: 5): Requires a roll-up tambour door with key lock, 24" interior depth, modular trays with safety features, 5" casters (1 steering, 1 braking), beige finish, and specific dimensions (30”D x 28”W x 76”H). • Services to be performed during normal duty hours (8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays), with coordination required for off-hours work.

• Noncontract Charges: No additional charges without prior Contracting Officer approval.

• Payment: Upon receipt of a properly prepared invoice referencing the contract/PO number.

• Shipping: All shipping costs for parts are included in the contract cost.

• Information Security: Vendor must comply with VA standard operating procedures, contract language, laws, and regulations regarding LAN/Internet, data, information, and system security. Compliance with FISMA, OMB Circular A-130, NIST standards, and VA policies is required.

• Contract Personnel Security: All contractor employees requiring access to VA computer systems must undergo a background investigation and receive favorable adjudication from the VA Security and Investigations Center (07C) per VA Directive 0710. Forms are to be completed within 30 days of award.
