(iii)Â Description of requirements. The overall purpose of this requirement is to procure linearity materials, which are not already provided through P&LMS Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) funding. Many testing systems within Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service (P&LMS) require validation of the Analytical Measurement Range (AMR) for an analyte both initially and at least every six months thereafter. This can be accomplished through the procurement of linearity material that is both matrix specific and spans the range of the AMR for each analyte when required.
