Scope of Work
The selected contractor will provide comprehensive urinalysis testing services for patients and medical staff. This includes supplying leased, fully automated urinalysis analyzers capable of continuous sample loading, meeting specific throughput requirements for urine chemistry (up to 210 samples/hour) and microscopy (up to 80 samples/hour). Analyzers must perform detailed urine chemistry and microscopic analysis, including automated body fluid cell count analysis, and adhere to current industry standards and FDA clearance. The scope also covers all necessary ancillary items such as reagents, controls, calibrators, consumable supplies, shipping, maintenance, labor, travel, training, and replacement parts. Systems must interface with VA systems, comply with VA Information Security requirements, and support data management. The contractor is also responsible for providing training for operators and maintenance personnel, and documentation/training on hazardous waste management.
