Scope of Work

The project involves comprehensive interior physical security upgrades, including:

  • Rekeying with electronic cores and keys (Medeco XT system or approved equal).
  • Installation of electronic cores, keys, software, key chargers, and remote programmer stations.
  • Installation of motion intrusion equipment and security cameras monitored by VA Police.
  • Upgrading fire doors with security wire mesh embedded glass (specifically four glass windows in fire doors at JB Bldg. 75).
  • Adding metal exclusion cages around select windows (three aluminum windows at John Cochran Building 8, with specific #304 stainless steel woven mesh requirements).
  • Installing emergency door marker signage.
  • Work will be performed in Building 75 JB, Building 8A JC, and various CBOCs including Hope Recovery Center, Manchester Ave, Washington Ave, St Louis County, St Charles County, Franklin County, and St Clair County.
  • A one (1) year Guarantee Period of Service is required.
  • The Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) level is Class 2, and continuous contractor supervision is required.
