The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) plans to award a non-competitive purchase order to Sunburst Sensors LLC for purchase of a SAMI-pCO2 sensor.
In 2024, The New England Water Science Center purchased two SAMI-pCO2 sensors that have been deployed at existing sites. Acquisition of an additional SAMI-pCO2 sensor ensures comparability with the existing datasets. In addition, training has already been conducted allowing for efficient installation, operation, and maintenance of this equipment.
Sunburst Sensors is the exclusive manufacturer and distributor of the SAMI-pCO2 instrument.
In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency; however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).
Email responses to sruggles@usgs.gov.
The North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519. The size standard is 600 employees.
The anticipated contract will be firm, fixed-price. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov to be awarded the contract.
