Scope of Work
The requirement is for the procurement of two (2) 5' Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinets (BSC) with 10" sashes, compatible with 115V / 50/60 Hz power. These must be brand name or equal to Labconco biosafety cabinet, Logic Type A2 specifications. Key features include service fixtures on the right side, a minimum 5" full-color touchscreen display, an internal UV light (operational when sash is closed), supply & exhaust with HEPA filtration, and right/left side Vacu-Pass portals.
Required accessories include two Universal Hydraulic Base Stands (5ft, 115V), two Airflow Sensor Displays, two Stainless Steel Shelves (magnetic), two Cord Management Systems, one Pipette Rack (magnetic), one Magnetic Waste Bag Holder, and one Pipette Aid Holder (magnetic).
Services include delivery to the Research building at Sioux Falls VA Health Care System (ground level unloading) and installation. Delivery is required 90-120 days after award, with installation tentatively scheduled for April 2026. A 1-year warranty or manufacturer's warranty (whichever is greater) is required.
