The VA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO-8) intends to issue a firm-fixed price single-source procurement to Polymedco Cancer Diagnostics Products LLC for_FY26: FIT Analyzer Polymedco-Diana for the VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The proposed contract is for a FIT Analyzer Polymedco-Diana to provide a medical testing platform, to replace the current platform that is becoming obsolete and is being replaced by the current model. This equipment is utilized to ensure and maintain high-quality testing and disease discovery for medical patients. There is only one company with the capability to provide this compatible testing platform. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 334516 with a business size standard of 1,000 employees and PSC 6640.
The proposed contract is to replace the current FIT Analyzer Polymedco platform that is becoming obsolete and is being replaced by the current model FIT Analyzer Polymedco- OC Diana, which the Government intends to solicit, with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This is a notice of intent to award a single-source procurement action and is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation package is available. Firms that want to challenge the single source must show clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the services/supplies, and that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
