The VHA Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) Caribbean VA Healthcare System and Orlando VA Healthcare System is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors for Thyroid Cancer Molecular Testing Service. NCO 8 intends to solicit and award a requirement contract with a base plus four-year option.

1. Purpose:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing genomic profile testing for thyroid cancer. This testing is intended to support clinical decision-making by identifying genetic mutations and molecular markers associated with thyroid malignancies.
2. Description of Requirement:
The VA is seeking vendors capable of providing a comprehensive genomic profiling test for thyroid cancer that includes, but is not limited to:
Detection of gene mutations, fusions, and expression profiles relevant to thyroid cancer (e.g., BRAF, RAS, RET/PTC, PAX8/PPAR , TERT, etc.)
Ability to distinguish between benign and malignant thyroid nodules
CLIA-certified and CAP-accredited laboratory testing
Turnaround time of 14 calendar days from sample receipt
Electronic reporting of results with interpretation
Specimen collection kits and shipping logistics support
HIPAA-compliant data handling and reporting
