- FDA-approved and capable of identifying nucleic acid of targeted pathogens.
- Must meet CLIA and CLSI performance standards for accuracy and precision.
- Must be a random access instrument with a turnaround time (TAT) of 90 minutes or less for pathogen identification.
- Must have a bi-directional, bar-coded computer interface compatible with VA VistA and Cerner LIS systems.
- Must perform specific PCR assays including Strep A, CT/NG, Influenza A/B, RSV, MRSA, C diff, and Vaginal Panel.
- Vendor must provide a QC program for all tests, a 24/7 service hotline, and standard software/hardware upgrades at no additional charge.
- Delivery, installation, and removal of equipment must be provided at no additional charge.
