General Information
Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 in conjunction with Part 13 of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), and the solicitation number is 36C24E25Q0065.
This notice incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-05 effective 7 August 2025, and the Veterans Affairs Acquisition Regulations (VAAR). This Solicitation is being competed as Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 325120 Industrial Gas Manufacturing, and the Product Service Code (PSC) is 6835 Medical Gasses and the business size standard is 1200 Employes.
The RPO-East Research and Development Contracting Office is seeking to obtain medical gas and delivery services. The Statement of Work (SOW) is incorporated in Attachment 1.
Clauses and provisions as well as complete instructions for submitting a response to this solicitation and applicable provisions and clauses are found in Attachment 2. All offerors are advised to pay careful attention to the quote submission instructions as there are very specific instructions as what is required to be provided.
The period of performance (POP) is estimated to be 10/27/2025-10/26/2030.
Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on a Standard Form 1449. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and therefore no 1449 was issued for the solicitation IAW FAR 12.603 (b)
Minimum award guarantee is $5,000.00
