Scope of Work

This solicitation is for the manufacture and supply of COMPUTER, HANDHELD units. Key requirements include:

• Traceability: Offerors not the manufacturer must provide manufacturer name, CAGE Code, and traceability information within 2 days if requested. Documented supply chain traceability (basic item description, part number, NSN, manufacturing source, CAGE, supply chain intermediaries, batch IDs) must be retained for five years.
• Marking: Items must be physically identified in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N.
• Design Changes: Strict procedures for design, material, servicing, or part number changes, requiring NAVICP-MECH Contracting Officer approval.
• Quality Assurance: Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. Government source inspection and acceptance are required.
• Packaging: Military packaging and bar coding are required, in accordance with MIL-STD 2073.
