Statement of Work (SOW)

To update and remodel the kitchen at USCG Station Bayfield, WI, including new countertops and cabinets, replacing the vent hood with a microwave/vent hood combination, updating the sink, backsplash, lighting, paint, and garbage disposal. The goal is to increase counter space and provide an updated kitchen for the crew.

• Demolish existing kitchen cabinets, countertops, sink, backsplash, lighting, coffee cabinet, and vent hood.

• Procure and install new lower and upper cabinets, solid surface countertops, trim, backsplash, paper towel dispenser, and over-sink lighting.

• Install a new double-wide sink with faucet, valves, and drains.

• Install a new microwave with vent hood capabilities over the oven, including necessary ducting.

• Build/install new cabinet and countertop within the existing refrigerator cove, including trim and backsplash.

• Replace the existing garbage disposal.

• Repaint kitchen walls and trim, and reapply caulk as necessary.

• Dispose of all waste generated from the project.

• Replace all associated components to update drains, valves, faucets, and vent hood fan and ducting.

• Repair any damage to walls, trim, studs, and drop ceiling if needed.
